Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Trixie Marie Robbins Williams. Mrs. Williams passed from this life September 9, 2020 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville TN. A native of Wilder, TN, she was raised in Franklin County. She was a very active member of the Cowan First Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, volunteered for to serve in numerous missions and the Food Ministry, just to name a few. She had the heart of a servant and was a willing volunteer in any opportunity that presented itself. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She was a champion Rook player and enjoyed other card games as well. She was always eager and willing to try new things, ranging from food to travel. She was a very warm and outgoing lady who never missed an opportunity to take a journey and meet new people. She went on numerous cruises and traveled across the U.S.A. several times, stopping at many points to experience various new cultures. In her younger years she loved to roller skate. Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by her mother, Letha Nell Morgan Moore and her father, Noble Robbins. Also preceding her in death is her sister, Charlotte Stevens and grandson, Elisha Watson. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Joe Ed Williams of Cowan; daughter, Faith (Jeff) Watson of Frisco, TX; granddaughters, Gabi Watson of Frisco, TX and Rachael Watson of Odessa, TX; grandson, Zachary Watson of Frisco, TX; brother, Danny Robbins of Cowan. The family will receive friends Saturday September 12, 2020 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 12 noon at the Cowan First Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 12 noon with Rev. L. Z. Johnson officiating. Interment will be at Franklin Memorial Gardens with friends and family members serving as pallbearers. Online condolences may be sent to www.watsonnorth.com.
