Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Mr. Thomas “Pruitt” Fulton, age 91 of Decherd. Mr. Fulton passed from this life January 5, 2021 at his home. He was a native of Tullahoma and a 1947 graduate of Tullahoma High School. Following high school he worked at Hoover Motor Express in Tullahoma as a truck driver. Mr. Fulton served in the U. S. Army between the years of 1952 and 1954 after which he transferred to the U.S. Army Reserve where he served for an additional 6 years. He retired from AT&T in 1984 where he worked in business telecommunication systems. He was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church Decherd. Mr. Fulton is preceded in death by mother, Edna Jones Fulton and his father, William Horace Fulton, Sr.; his first wife of 57 years , Willadean Broadrick Fulton; sisters, Lois Alsobrooks and Audrey Jackson; brother, Horace Fulton, Jr. He is survived by his 2nd wife, Dorothy Bain Fulton; step-children, Reba (Dennis) Crosslin of Manchester, Donna (George) Walker of Cincinnati OH, and James Steven Howell of Decherd. The family will receive friends at Watson-North Funeral Home between the hours of 12 noon and 3 p.m. Saturday January 9, 2021. The funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. with Rev. Chris Noland, pastor of First Baptist Church Decherd officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens with friends and family members serving as pallbearers.
