Obituary

Ms. Sarah Frances Warr was born February 7, 1943 in Winchester, Tennessee to the late Lula Warr. After a long hard fight with breast cancer, Sarah went to be with God on May 16, 2020 under the care of Compassus Hospice at NHC in Tullahoma. Sarah is preceded in death by her mother Lula Warr; biological mother, Mary Elizabeth Roberson; son, Jeremy Tyrone Warr; aunt, Annie Roseboro-Hunt; uncle, Floyd Roseboro and cousins, Cornelia Hunt and Ray Hayes, Sr.

Sarah dedicated her life to Christ at an early age The Original Church of God (Holy Covenant). Sarah grew up on old Cowan Road where she had an instrumental role in the raising of several generations of neighborhood children.

Sarah enjoyed listening to and singing gospel music as well as playing the tambourine. Sarah also had a love for pets (Sasha & Luna), crafting, playing cards, watching “The Price is Right” and any Madea movie. Sarah would often be seen at local sporting events supporting the local kids. Sarah was loved by anyone who had the pleasure of meeting and knowing her.

Sarah leaves to cherish her memory: special cousin and caregiver, JoAnn Hayes (NHC – Tullahoma, TN); cousin and caregiver, Lillian "Missy" (MeMe) Hayes of Decherd; cousins, Richard Hunt of Winchester, Antonio (Christy) Hill of Cowan, Sherrie Miller of Decherd, Jasmine Biddle and Shameika Biddle of Decherd, Quiona (Alex) Edwards of Madison, AL., Latonya Hayes-Southall of Lewisburg, Skyler (Cali) Whitaker of Lewisburg, Jabryle Hill of Decherd, Shirley Hill of Cowan; and a host of family, friends, and the special children that brought so much joy to her life which includes, but is not limited to: Tally Hayes, Tristin Hill, Gavin Biddle, Akiyah Hill, Kingston Hill, Taniyah Hill, Trey McKinney, Kembre and Keason Whitaker and Dalen Carter.

Visitation, Saturday, May 23, 2020 between the hours of 10:00am and 1:00pm at Watson-North Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 1:00pm at Watson-North Memorial Park where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved son, Tyrone with Trey Derrick, Jason Hunt, Skyler Whitaker, Antonio Hill, Jabryle Hill, and Reggie Rice serving as pallbearers.
