Obituary

Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Jo McCafferty, age 88 of Florence, AL.  Mrs. McCafferty passed away Sunday May 15, 2022.  She is preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband and a granddaughter.  She is survived by her daughters, Jana (Mike) Beddingfield of Greeneville, TN and Deta (Nat Vickory) Horton of Winchester, TN; son, David J. (Marsha) Garner of Hazel Green, AL; a sister, Nellie Sue (Sam) Morris of Winchester, TN.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Caleb (Ashley) Chapman of Oviedo, FL, Gabriel M. (Wendie) Beddingfield of Fremont, CA, Joshua A. (Courtney) Beddingfield of Greeneville, TN, Amanda Reinhardt of Raleigh, NC and Lisa Sparks of Hazel Green, AL; 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.  Mrs. McCafferty was a professional photographer, having worked for more the 30 years at Olan Mills.  She was also a very gifted and talented interior decorator.  In her younger years she enjoyed riding motorcycles.  The family will receive friends at Watson-North Funeral Home Tuesday May 17, 2022 between the hours of 12 noon and 2 p.m.  The funeral service will commence at 2 p.m. following visitation with Rev Ray Gardner officiating.  Interment will be at Watson-North Memorial Park.  Serving as pallbearers will be Gabriel Beddingfield, Joshua Beddingfield, Mike Beddingfield, George Hill, Mike Brooks and Conner Sparks.  Online condolences may be directed to www.watsonnorth .com
