Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Melissa Ann Mantooth, age 59 of Winchester. Ms. Mantooth passed away Saturday April 10, 2021 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Winchester. She was a 1978 graduate of Franklin County High School. Among her many interests in life she loved swimming, sunbathing and shopping. Being the loving and attentive grandmother she was, its goes without saying that she adored her grandchildren. Ms. Mantooth is preceded in death by her husband, Jeffrey Sweeton. Also preceding her in death is her mother, Margaret Dishman Mantooth, her father, Roy Lee Mantooth, sister, Sheila Wilkinson, and her brother, Tony Mantooth. She leaves to cherish her memory and mourn her passing, her son, Brad Mantooth and his wife, Jordan of Cowan. She also leaves her sister, Gloria Terrill of Greutli-Laggar; grandchildren, Brooklyn Mantooth, Carson Mantooth and Alyssa Stewart, all of Cowan, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday April 13, 2021 between the hours of 5 and 8 p.m. at Watson-North Funeral Home. The funeral ceremony will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday April 14, 2021 from the Roy B. Watson Chapel of Watson-North Funeral Home with Todd Barnes officiating.
