Mary Louise Heath Smith, 84, passed away at her residence in Decherd on January 27, 2021.
She is survived by daughters: Mia (Paul) Wilkerson of Winchester, Sarah (Johnny) Horton of Hazel Green, and Lisa (Alan) Stovall of Winchester. 9 grandchildren: Kristal Ray, Amy (David) Grimes, Jennifer Horton, Wade Horton, Chad (Jana) Stovall, Leanne (Jon) Wood, Chelsea (Cody) Gardner,
Chelsea (J.R.) Barrett, Jason (Annoula) Wilkerson. 10 great grandchildren: Dylan Grimes, Emma and Jacob Barrett, Sadie and Charlotte Wood, Reagan and Laken Gardner, Memphis Stovall, Kylee and Madisyn Brazier.
3 sisters Helen Wade of Knoxville. Ann (Bert) Allee of Manchester. Nancy (Ernie) Colvin of Murfreesboro and a host of nieces and nephews.
She worked over 30 years at Arnold Air Force Base first in logistics and then in the Chem and Met Lab.
Her hobbies were anything her grand and great grandchildren were involved in. Basketball, football, softball , baseball, cross country. She loved being around friends and family and was affectionately known as “MeMe” by everyone. She loved watching sports with family and friends.
She was a member of the Winchester Church of Christ and loved reading her Bible daily. Her love for God was clear in the way she lived her life and treated others. Her last act of service was to donate her body in order to help others learn and therefore be able to help more people.
There will not be a service, so in lieu of flowers, any donations should be made to the Winchester Christian Academy or the Winchester Church of Christ Scholarship Fund.
