Larry Ray Nash

June 22, 1958 ~ May 9, 2022 (age 63)


Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Larry Ray Nash, age 63 of Winchester.  Mr. Nash passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 9 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Winchester.  

A native of Huntsville, Alabama, Mr. Nash was a graduate of Butler High School.  He was employed by SES in Huntsville. 

Mr. Nash and his wife made their home in Franklin County on Tim’s Ford Lake since 2018 to enjoy life on the lake, which was a very important part of his life.   

Mr. Nash was a deeply devoted man to his family, his wide base of friends, and extended family.  He had a smile that would light up the room and never met a stranger. His love for others was shown all throughout his community.  He was truly an outdoors person whether it be enjoying boating, riding his motorcycle or entertaining family and friends at his home.  

Mr. Nash is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Hopkins Nash, his father, L. C. Nash and a sister, Brenda Kay Phillips.  He leaves to mourn his untimely passing, his wife of 17 years, Mary Jo Nash; children, Ashley Gibson of Nashville, Nathan (Taylor) Howdon of Murfreesboro, Chelsee (Cole) Thornton, and Whitney (Matt) Looney, of Alabama.  Mr. Nash also leaves 8 grandchildren, a sister, Beverly (Sammy) Robertson and a brother, Johnny Nash, a niece Amanda (Chris)nephew John Roy Robertson, great niece and great nephew all of Alabama.
