Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Larman Wallace Franics, Jr. age 91 of Decherd. Mr. Francis passed from this life on Tuesday, March 31st, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on March 3, 1929 in Decherd, Tennessee to the late Larman Francis, Sr. and Versie Southern Francis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 70 years, Annie Ruth Francis; daughter, Brenda (Bobby) Tate; siblings, Betty Smith and Ealine Glenn. Mr. Francis was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for many years until his health failed him. He was employed at the University of the South in Sewanee for 44 years as a janitorial supervisor. He is survived by his loving children, Jerry (Hattie) Francis of Manchester, Patricia (Pearlie) Gray, and Renae (Brian) Holman of Decherd; two brothers, Ben (Juanita) Francis of Michigan and Clark (Earline) Francis of Decherd; sister, Janie (Kevin) Corn of Winchester; and a of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Visitation, Friday, April 3, 2020 between the hours of 10:00am and 12:00pm at Watson-North Funeral Home. For those who so desire, a register book will be placed at the front door of the funeral home during visitation hours. A private family graveside will be held.
