Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Bobby Dean Pickett, age 83 of Taft, Tennessee. Mr. Pickett was born on May 12, 1936 in Flintville, Tennessee to the late Ira and Eunice Pickett. He was preceded in death by his son, Phillip Shawn Pickett; four sisters, Ester Limbaugh, Neva Pitts, Nell Janett, and Mildred Goodman; nine brothers, Zack Pickett, J.D. Pickett, I.C. Pickett, Fred Pickett, Tom Pickett, Bill Pickett, (twins) Guy and Robert Lee Pickett, and Carl Pickett. Mr. Pickett was employed at Amana/Goodman for 22 years as a lab technician. He loved his family, friends, and being retired. He leaves to cherish his memories to his loving wife, Rose Pickett of Taft, Tennessee; sons, Bobby Pickett, Jr and his wife, Charlotte of Alba, Texas and Ira Ray Pickett of Yantis, Texas; grandchildren, Brandie (Sam) Harvey and Amanda (Dustin) Paris; great-grandchildren, Uriah Harvey, Kolby Harvey, Dakota Pickett, Hunter Reid, Madison Reid and Grace Reid; great-great grandchildren, Cooper and Noah Harvey; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation, Sunday, April 5, 2020 between the hours of 4:00 and 7:00PM at Watson-North Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted on Monday, April 6, 2020 at Watson-North Funeral Home beginning at 2:00PM with burial to follow at Watson-North Memorial Park with military honors bestowed. There will be a register book outside of the main entrance to the funeral home on Sunday, April 5th, 2020 from 4:00pm-7:00pm for those who wish to stop by and sign.
