Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Mr. William Thomas “Tommy” Stubblefield, age 69 of Winchester. Mr. Stubblefield passed away June 1, 2017 following a lengthy illness. He was born January 11, 1948 to the late Clyde R. Stubblefield and Mamie Lee Summers Stubblefield, both preceding him in death. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a retired construction equipment operator. He enjoyed working around his house and spending time with his grandson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Helen Penny; brothers, Donald Stubblefield, Clyde Stubblefield, Jr., Gary Stubblefield and James Stubblefield. He is survived by his daughter, Amanda (Clint) Sutherland and grandson, Collin Sutherland, all of Murfreesboro; sisters, Pat (Millard) Bratton, Ruby (Earl) Berryhill and Jean (Leon) Parker, all of Winchester and Cathy (Randy) Cofer of Decherd; brothers, Mike (Rhonda) Stubblefield of Winchester and Ronnie Stubblefield of Decherd; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Saturday June 3, 2017 at Watson-North Funeral Home. The funeral ceremony will be officiated by Rev. Ray Gardner at 2 p.m. Sunday June 4, 2017 from the Roy B. Watson Chapel of Watson-North Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens with military Honors.
