Ora Inez Partin, age 89 of Winchester, passed away August 1, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. The youngest of 7 children, she was born in the Buncombe Community near Estill Springs on February 11, 1928 to the late John Henry and Emma Smith Fisher. She was baptized into Christ at the age of fourteen and remained a devout Christian her entire lifetime.  She attended Prairie Plains and Capitol Hill Church of Christ. She worked at different times in her life at H.S. Kress, Kuhns Department Store, Decherd-Franklin and R&W Apparel.  She was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, eating Mexican food at El Camino, watching Atlanta Braves baseball games, reading mystery novels, anything historical, watching detective shows, comedies and westerns on TV.  She will be remembered for her cooking, her kindness and humbleness but especially for her knowledge of the Bible.  She always had her Sunday School lesson done.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Lewis Partin; sisters, Mary McInturff, Pauline Phipps and Ethel Arnold; brothers, Charles, Wilbur and Newt Fisher.  She is survived by and will be greatly missed by her daughters, Connie Partin and Carol (Mike) Geer, both of Winchester; son, Randall (Patsy) Partin of Decherd; grandchildren, Susan (Keith) Hill of Decherd, Steve Partin of Decherd, Eric (Megan) Geer of Decherd, Lauren (Tyler) Farough of Estill Springs ; great-grandchildren, Nathan and Daniel Sells, Eli, John Wesley and Lauralie Geer, Emma and Ella Farough; several nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. The family would like to say a special thanks to all of Avalon Hospice, caregivers, Glenda Eddings, Sherry Hill, Darlene Williams and Kody Foster. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday August 4, 2017 at Watson-North Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday August 5, 2017 from the Roy B. Watson Chapel of Watson-North Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Robison delivering the message.  Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens with friends and family serving as Pallbearers.  Online condolences may be sent to
