Nora Marquez, age 67 passed away in her beloved home surrounded by family on Friday, November 15, 2019. She is survived by life partner, Peter Marquez, daughters Amelia Marquez and Lillian Marquez, grandson Isaiah Holder all of Franklin County, Tennessee. Preceded by mother Virginia Tomchak, father Stanley Tomchak, sister Karen Pokriefka, husband Bob Pokriefka. Nephews Phil Pokriefka and Ben Pokriefka. Step brother Tom Tomchak all of Michigan. Step sister Lillian Yanchick, of Pennsylvania. Aunt’s, Doris Buza, husband Jim Buza and Irene Switra. Dear cousin Doreen McLain and husband Jim McLain all of Michigan.Nora was a wife, mother and loved her friends and family, holding her heart above all as a servant of God. Nora dedicated her life to her country as Bio Environmental Engineer traveling the world, retiring as a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force. She was a lover of music, open heart for animals, advocate for health, with an extraordinary talent to touch lives through her gift of cooking. Nora was a storyteller of her many encounters, people, places finding beauty in sharing excitement and passion in her experiences. Her personal will, pride, strength and unconditional love will always be remembered. A private family service was held on November 25, 2019, with full military honors. Interment was held at Watson-North Memorial Park.
