Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Mildred Eloise Woodall Patterson, age 83 of Lawrenceville, GA. Mrs. Patterson passed from this life on Tuesday October 8, 2019. She was born in Scottsboro, AL on February 6, 1936 to A. D and Estella Woodall, both who precede her in death. Mrs. Patterson was a seamstress and worked extensively with various crafts. Her “claim to fame” came during her school years when her 4-H club square danced at the Grand Ole Opry. In addition to her mother and father, Mrs. Patterson is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Earl Patterson; sisters, Helen Gipson, Mary Ellen Trussell and Seleta Woodall; brothers, Wendell, Bill, Charles & Larry Woodall. She is survived by her daughter, Marie (Barry) Brown of Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren, Heather (Kyle) Brent and Seleta (Corey) Collins; great-grandchildren, Chloe & Stella Collins and Anna & Julia Brent; siblings, Margaret & Terry Holder and Faye Woodall; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Watson-North Funeral Home on Friday October 11, 2019 between the hours of 5 and 8 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the chapel of Watson-North Funeral Home at 11 a.m. on Saturday October 12, 2019 with Brother John Burge officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Garner Cemetery in Decherd with friends and family serving as pallbearers. Following the interment, the family will host a luncheon at 286 Holland Lane in Decherd.
