Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Mr. Lonnie Cortez "Ted" Kennerly, age 59 of Decherd. Mr. Kennerly passed from this life unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 4th, 2019 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System. He was born on August 29, 1960 to the late Leland Garfield Kennerly and Anna Louise Price. Lonnie was a Texas Rangers fan and had a passion for drawing. He enjoyed watching the "Matlock" TV series. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Billy Joe Price and Wallace G. Kennerly; sister, Regina Kennerly; and his life partner, Linda Ann Wilkerson. He leaves to cherish his memories to his daughter, LaTasha Wilkerson of Decherd; five sisters, Wanda (Larry) Scott, Leila Ann Palmer, Rebecca Louise Baker, Shelia S. Kennerly, and Tina Kennerly all of Winchester; devoted cousin, Larry D. Price of Chattanooga; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 8th, 2019 from 2:00-3:00p.m., at Watson-North Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3:00p.m., conducted from the Roy B. Watson Chapel of Watson-North Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Watson-North Memorial Park with Michael Burnette, James Wilkerson, Carl Hill, Randy Taylor, Chris Partin, and Zachary Partin serving as pallbearers.
