Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Kathy Jean Crabtree Wiser, age 65 of Lewisburg. Mrs. Wiser passed from this life October 26, 2019 following a lengthy battle with cancer to be with her late husband of 42 years in heaven. She was born on March 22, 1954 in Marshall County to Billie Joplyn Brown Crabtree and James Thomas Crabtree. She was a 1972 graduate of Cornersville High School. Following her high school years she worked at Sanford-Faber for 28 years. In her spare time she dearly loved putting jigsaw puzzles together. She was also an avid reader and loved to take in intriguing mystery stories and novels. She was a gifted artist and painted many outdoor scenes. As an artist, she was inspired by her favorite artist, Bob Ross and especially admired his “happy little trees”. Mrs. Wiser is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Wiser in 2016; her mother, Billie Crabtree. She is survived by her father, James T. Crabtree of Petersburg, TN; daughter, Amy (Dewayne) Cates of Madison, AL; son Josh Wiser of Lewisburg, TN; sister Marsha (Jerry) Marion of Estill Springs, TN; brother, Doug (Linda) Crabtree of Shelbyville, TN; 4 grandchildren. Friends and family will gather to share their memories and celebrate Kathy’s remarkable life at the International House of Prayer located at 865 Union St., Shelbyville, TN on Saturday November 9, 2019 between the hours of 12 noon and 4 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to www.watsonnorth.com.
