Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Pauline Goodrich, age 73 of Estill Springs.  Mrs. Goodrich passed away in a tragic automobile accident on March 9, 2018. 

She was a native of Waukegan, IL. but made her home in Franklin County with her husband until his passing.  Mrs. Goodrich worked in the Franklin County School System for a number of years as a teacher’s aid, touching the lives of children of all ages as well as their families.  All of those who knew her if even for a short while learned quickly that her heart was larger than life.  She shared her unconditional love with all people and had a genuine interest in everyone around her.  She had a remarkable and lasting influence on so many people, ranging from the young to the elderly. Her laughter was infectious and seared one’s heart with joy.  She was greatly loved and admired. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ed Goodrich.  She leaves to cherish her memory and mourn her passing, her sons, William Clifford Pitts. Jr. of Waukegan, IL and Edward Everett Goodrich, Jr. of New Orleans; sisters, Jean Rudd and Jackie Rose, both of Zion, IL; adopted daughter, Kimberly McKay of New Orleans; grandson, Dylan Anthony Goodrich of Atlanta;

The family will receive friends at Watson-North Funeral Home on Thursday March 14, 2018 between the hours of 6 and 7 p.m.  A celebration and sharing of the life of Pauline Goodrich will follow at 7 p.m. Miss G will be laid to rest beside her husband in the National Cemetery.
