Watson-North Funeral Home is deeply honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Mr. Herman B. Taylor, age 85, of Estill Springs. Mr. Taylor departed this life on August 5, 2017 while surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Taylor was born to the late David and Beulah Taylor. He was married to the late Clara Bow Jones and later in his life, after the passing of Ms. Clara, he was joined in marriage to Mrs. Molly Taylor.

Mr. Taylor served in the United States Army and served his country in the Korean War. He was employed at AEDC as a Crane Operator, but his passion was in farming and had been so since his early childhood. He was united in Christ at Mt. Olive P.B. Church, Hunt Street in Winchester and served faithfully as a Deacon  until his elder years.

In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Taylor is preceded in death by, step mother, Hattie Mae Taylor and beloved Aunt Mattie Lou Ward, sisters, Mattie Sue Whitworth, Clara Taylor, Clydia Williams, brothers, John, James and Robert Taylor as well as Molly Taylor.

He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memories his sons, Herman D. (Nancy) Taylor, Ronnie D. (Tina), James M. (Cheryl) Taylor, 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
